Signia Gearing Up for Annual Walk4Hearing Fundraiser
For the sixth year in a row, Signia employees and their families will participate in the Walk4Hearing, this time in our own state of New Jersey. This year’s NJ-based event will be held on Sunday, October 16, at Mercer County Park in West Windsor. Registration begins at 10:00am and the 5K Walk4Hearing itself starts at 11:00am.
The annual Walk4Hearing fundraiser is sponsored by the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA). The HLAA Walk4Hearing increases awareness about hearing loss, helps to eradicate the stigma associated with it, and raises funds to provide information and support for people with hearing loss. Since 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised more than $7.7 million and has become the largest walk for hearing taking place in cities across the United States.
